Pulsation Dampeners

FOX S.R.L. Idropneumatic Accumulators and Pulsation Dampeners are high-performance energy storage and vibration control devices designed to stabilize pressure fluctuations, absorb pulsations, and ensure continuous, efficient operation of hydraulic and fluid handling systems. Engineered with precision using advanced hydropneumatic technology, these units store energy in the form of compressed gas and release it when needed to maintain constant system pressure, reduce pump stress, minimize vibrations, and extend the lifespan of system components. Manufactured in accordance with international standards, FOX accumulators and dampeners feature high-strength steel or stainless steel bodies, replaceable or welded diaphragms or bladders, and are available in a wide range of volumes, pressure ratings, and material configurations to suit industrial, marine, and energy applications. Their compact design, proven reliability, and compatibility with a wide range of fluids make them an essential component for achieving operational stability and energy efficiency in demanding environments. Bladder pulsation dampeners

Bladder pulsation dampeners by FOX S.R.L. are precision-engineered hydraulic devices designed to absorb pressure pulsations, eliminate vibration, and stabilize flow in fluid systems, ensuring optimal efficiency and protection of downstream equipment. Installed on pumping and hydraulic circuits, these dampeners utilize a high-quality elastomer bladder that compresses and expands in response to pressure fluctuations, delivering exceptional energy absorption and flow smoothing performance. With robust construction, compatibility with various fluids, and compliance with international standards, FOX bladder pulsation dampeners are widely used in oil & gas, chemical, water treatment, and industrial applications to enhance system reliability, reduce noise, and prevent premature wear of system components.

Diaphragm pulsation dampeners

As a global leader in hydraulic control solutions, FOX S.R.L. designs Diaphragm Pulsation Dampeners to ensure superior flow stabilization, pressure control, and vibration reduction in pumping systems. These dampeners are engineered with a flexible diaphragm that separates the gas pre-charge chamber from the fluid, allowing rapid compensation of pressure fluctuations generated by reciprocating pumps. Their compact design, high-frequency response, and maintenance-free operation make them ideal for dosing systems, water treatment, chemical processing, and precision applications where continuous fluid stability is critical.

FEATURES

  • Operating Pressure Range: 10 bar to 250 bar (standard); high-pressure versions available upon request
  • Volume Capacity: 0.075 L to 3 L (standard range); extended capacities available on special request
  • Temperature Range: -20°C to +120°C (depending on diaphragm material); high-temperature options up to +150°C
  • Diaphragm Materials: NBR (Nitrile), EPDM, FKM (Viton®), PTFE-coated diaphragms for chemical resistance
Body Materials: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel AISI 316L, Duplex, or special alloys
  • Design Options: Welded (maintenance-free), or Threaded/Clamp design for diaphragm replacement
  • Connection Types: BSP, NPT, SAE, DIN, ANSI/ASME Flanged

Plastic pulsation dampeners

FOX S.R.L. Plastic Pulsation Dampeners are specifically engineered for applications where chemical compatibility, corrosion resistance, and lightweight construction are essential. Designed for dosing pumps, chemical injection systems, and water treatment plants, these dampeners are manufactured from high-performance thermoplastics such as PVC, PP, PVDF, or PTFE to offer full protection against aggressive acids, alkalis, chlorinated solutions, and demineralized water. The internal diaphragm or bladder absorbs the pressure surges generated by reciprocating pumps, ensuring smooth flow, reducing vibrations, improving dosing accuracy, and extending the service life of downstream equipment.

FEATURES

  • Body Materials: PVC-U, PP, PVDF, PTFE (selected based on fluid compatibility)
  • Diaphragm/Bladder Material: PTFE, EPDM, FKM (FDA-grade options available)
  • Operating Pressure Range: 6 bar to 16 bar (standard), high-pressure PVDF/PTFE models up to 25 bar
  • Volume Capacity: 0.1 L to 2 L (standard range); other capacities available upon request
  • Temperature Range: -10°C to +100°C depending on material
  • Chemical Resistance: Suitable for aggressive acids, caustic solutions, chlorine compounds, and ultra-pure fluids
